Stainless-steel filters

Bruno Wolhfarth produces 'Farminox' and 'Labinox' filters for industries and laboratories.

'FARMINOX' plate filters work with sheets of different porosity depending on the degree of filtration required. They are used for purification, brightening or fine clarifying processes that precede the packaging of liquid products: drinks, oil, spirits, perfumes, colognes, aftershave, hair products, food and pharmaceutical syrups, essential oils and food supplements.

These pumps are particularly appreciated in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, which have particular hygiene needs and require certification of materials in contact with products. The most important quality of our filters is that they are made entirely of stainless steel and can be easily and completely removed for perfect cleaning. They also have no gaskets, which would need to be disassembled and
washed after each filtration because they could become a source of bacterial contamination. In fact, the characteristic round shape of the plates allows for a perfect seal directly between the plate and cardboard. Using the included blind plate, the filtering surface can be reduced to handle small quantities of product, avoiding waste of the filter material.

To also meet the needs of laboratories that have to filter small amounts of product, we have created the 'LABINOX' series of filters, Models L/10 and L/20, with 10 and 20 filtering septa, respectively, and an hourly production of 200/400 litres

(reference water), a filtering surface of approx. 0.13-0.26 and a weight of 16 and 26 kg, respectively. They have the same construction as the 'FARMINOX' series filters, only smaller. They are also made entirely of stainless steel, can be easily removed and are washable; they have no gaskets, as the plates have the characteristic round shape. The complete 'LABINOX' filter system with pressure gauge, electric pump and tap or stainless steel by-pass has been favoured by pharmaceutical, cosmetics, herbal and food products
laboratories to filter small quantities of perfumes, liqueurs, wine, medicinal infusions and for laboratory tests. In fact, this is a low-cost solution for high quality filtering; with the filtering cardboard and its small size, proportional to the quantity to be filtered, it reduces unnecessary waste.
